World Of Warcraft Encourages PvP Content With This Week’s Battlegrounds Bonus Event

Blizzard is doing what it can to keep its endgame content fresh with weekly cycling events. Each Tuesday brings a reset of the server, returning the content once a week to its original state and bringing a new weekly event.

These events can vary across several different options – bonuses for fighting pets, dungeons, and world quest reputation rewards. This week’s bonus brings a bonus to Battlegrounds, helping the community focus on PvP content.

“All this week, going to the battlefields will earn you a little extra honor as well as bonus loot for completing this week’s quest,” writes Blizzard. To register for the event, players only have to queue for a battlefield and collect the rewards.

Of course, there are more than just bonuses for the upcoming battlegrounds. Blizzard also implements some bonuses that you can supplement while you are doing the battlefields, greatly increasing the available rewards.

For starters, you will definitely want to see the Chroniclers in Zulduzar and Boralus, depending on your faction. Shoopa and Toopa will offer you a special quest that will reward you with 5 bonus honor marks and a radiant core of Azerite for winning four battlefields. As the list shows, the battlegrounds are the only content targeted with this bonus – global PvP via Warmode and the arenas are not affected at all by the event, although it is also PvP content.

This event will not affect Classic servers either, as expected by the nature of the client. Since Classic is supposed to be as close as possible to the original Vanilla servers, Blizzard keeps these events strictly reserved for Battle for Azeroth servers.
