Playdigieux publisher and developer Happy Volcano have announced the official release date of The Almost Gone. In January, the developer Happy Volcano had planned a release in 2020 but did not know the exact date. The spooky diorama puzzle game will debut on PC, mobile and Nintendo Switch.

The Almost Gone is more than an isometric puzzle game. Players must reconstruct different doramas to discover their missing memories. Clues are discovered along the way, from the house, deserted streets, apartments, hospitals, etc. Each completed diorama brings players closer to what happened. A new reveal date trailer features part of the story, complex dioramas to complete, as well as the June release date. There are five chapters to complete, each with unique dioramas and secrets to reveal. The story was written by award-winning author Joost Vandecasteele.

The narrative story will be available in multiple languages ​​at launch, including English, Japanese, French, German, Dutch, Chinese, Spanish, and Korean. Pre-orders are now available on Steam, Nintendo Switch and mobile. Those who pre-register early will receive a launch discount and will last one week. The title will only be available for digital download.

There are no additional bonuses for early pre-order. Players will receive a notification as soon as the game is available on the platform of their choice. The Steam page does not list any additional DLCs, so players can experience the full game without additional purchases.
